This international businessman
had been born with crooked teeth that were severely stained
and with an extremely uneven gumline. He was not willing
to have orthodontic treatment because of his work position,
but needed immediate results because of a possible change
in employment. He specified that he didn’t want them
to look “as perfect or as white, as dentures”
but needed a drastic change. We performed laser recontouring
of the gumline to treat the unevenness of the gums and
then used a combination of all porcelain veneers and all
porcelain crowns to complete the esthetic transformation.
